Bobby Bird will be creating a Watt’s Orbit surround sound install, fine tuning newly captured recordings of Watt’s Smethwick Engine, and combining them with the three previously recorded engines to create a work suitable for installation as well as for the full scale octophonic concert performance at St Paul’s Church in the Jewellery Quarter on Saturday 21st September 2019.

A great opportunity for music students, artists, curators and other interested parties to meet the artist, hear work in progress, and to get an inside view of the artistic process involved in creating this unique piece.
