Sonic artist Bobby Bird aka Higher Intelligence Agency will give an immersive surround sound performance of his composition Watt’s Orbit, created from the sounds and rhythms of James Watt’s 250 year old steam driven beam engines. These engines have been recorded at Papplewick Pumping Station, Crofton Beam Engines, The London Museum of Steam and Water, and Thinktank Birmingham. A transcendental tribute to James Watt, bringing history to life through sound.
